In addition to 10 interviews with community food experts

The interviews were conducted with the Executive Directors of the above organizations with the exception of The Food Trust, Greenmarket, Regional Environmental Council and DC Central Kitchen.  These exceptions resulted from a decision the organization made to propose alternative interview candidates in the case of the latter two and no response from the Executive Directors in the case of the first two.  In a few cases I requested interviews with Program Directors if community food was one program among many.  Two organizations refused the interview.
